Pelaksanaan penjaminan mutu akademik FS UM dilaksanakan oleh Unit Penjaminan Mutu (UPM) tingkat fakultas dan Gugus Penjaminan Mutu (GPM) tingkat jurusan.

UPM is an academic support element of FS UM which is led by a Chairperson and is directly responsible to the Dean of FS UM. Meanwhile, GPM is an academic support element of the department at FS UM which is led by a Chairperson and is directly responsible to the Head of the department.

UPM duties

  1. Developing a concept of quality assurance documents in the form of: academic policies, academic standards, and academic quality manuals of UM FS
  2. Formulate the need for and develop academic service quality assurance instruments
  3. Carry out quality assurance activities for academic services
  4. Monitoring the implementation of academic services

GPM duties

  1. Develop a concept of quality assurance documents in the form of study program specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (POS), and Work Instructions (IK) to implement POS
  2. Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of POS and IK at the department level
  3. Carry out activities for quality assurance of academic services in the department
