ART AND DESIGN DEPARTMENT<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

General requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Final Project \/ Thesis Examination is carried out after the thesis script is approved by the supervisor for testing.<\/li>\n
  2. The Final Project Examiner Team consists of 2 or 3 lecturers appointed by the Dean on the recommendation of the Head of the Department.<\/li>\n
  3. The Thesis Examiner Team consists of 3 people appointed by the Dean upon the recommendation of the Head of the Department \/ Study Program Coordinator.<\/li>\n
  4. The Final Project \/ Thesis Examiner Team consists of the main examiner and the supervisor who acts as the chief examiner.<\/li>\n
  5. Final Project Examination \/ Thesis will take 60-90 minutes.<\/li>\n
  6. Final Project \/ Thesis Manuscripts submitted to the Department and Examiners no later than 7 (seven) days before the exam date.<\/li>\n
  7. The results of the Final Project \/ Thesis assessment are determined by the Examining Team with the qualifications (a) Passing without revision, (b) Passing with revision, or (c) Not Passing.<\/li>\n
  8. The results of the assessment are announced by the Chief Examiner after the exam is declared complete.<\/li>\n
  9. Students are declared to have passed the Final \/ Thesis examination if the assessment conclusion value is as low as C.<\/li>\n
  10. Scientific papers for theses, theses and dissertations are required to attach a similarity test certificate (similarity check<\/em>). Similarity tolerance (similarity<\/em>) a maximum of 30% for undergraduate programs and 20% for postgraduate programs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The following are instructions for using the Cisco Webex Meetings and Google Meet applications that can be used for synchronous online implementation of Final \/ Thesis exams.<\/p>\n

    1. BEFORE EXAM<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

    Step 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    College student:<\/strong>
    \nAfter the Final Project \/ Thesis script is declared feasible by the Supervisor, requesting approval for the examination from the Supervisor through the application\u00a0WA<\/strong> <\/span>or E-mail<\/strong><\/span>, by including:
    \n- NIM
    \n- Name
    \n- Study Program
    \n- Website link to the Test Approval Form page<\/p>\n

    Step 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Supervisor:
    \n<\/strong>1. Give approval for the exam by filling in the following test approval form, and will receive an approval sheet file that has been equipped with a digital signature via email for the supervisors.
    \n2. Provide the consent sheet file that has been downloaded from email to students via the application WA<\/strong> <\/span>or E-mail<\/strong><\/span> (which is used as an archive for students).<\/p>\n

    Step 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    College student:
    \n<\/strong>Register \/ apply for an exam and upload all exam requirement files via the following form, including:
    \na. Final Project \/ Thesis script file (in .doc format)
    \nb. KRS file (in .pdf format)
    \nc. Similarity test result file (similarity check<\/em>)<\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    A. Department:
    \nChecking all exam requirement files, including exam approval from the Advisor<\/p>\n

    B. Students:
    \n1. Contact \/ ask for the study program \/ department to determine the name of the main examiner
    \n2. Contact and confer with examiners to determine the schedule for the exam (day, date, time) and the exam model used
    \n3. After getting an agreement on the exam schedule, fill out the Exam Schedule Form below.<\/p>\n

    C. Department:
    \nSending exam schedules, Minutes File and Exam Assessment Sheet Files (in .doc format) to examiners, via E-Office<\/p>\n

    Step 5<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    College student:
    \n<\/strong>Contact and send the Final Project \/ Thesis Manuscript File (in .doc format) to the examiners, via the application WA<\/strong> <\/span>or E-mail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Testers:<\/strong>
    \nStudy the Final Project \/ Thesis script that has been received, and if necessary, provide markers and \/ or notes on parts of the manuscript that need to be corrected by students<\/p>\n

    Step 6<\/h4>\n

    Examiners and Students:
    \n<\/strong>Prepare the tools needed for the online exam, namely:
    \n1. PC, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone, which is equipped with an internet connection
    \n2. Cisco Webex Meetings application, Google Meet, or other similar applications<\/p>\n

    2. EXAMINATION EXAMINATION<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Students are required to document the implementation of the exam in the form of screenshots (screenshots<\/em>) the implementation of the exam in the virtual exam room<\/p>\n

    Step 1<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Chairman of the Board of Examiners (Advisor I):
    \n<\/strong>Open and invite examiners and students to enter the virtual exam room, 10 minutes before the scheduled exam time. The devices used for the online exam are:
    \n1. PC, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone, which is equipped with an internet connection
    \n2. Cisco Webex Meetings application, Google Meet, or other similar applications<\/p>\n

    Step 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Examiners and Students:
    \n<\/strong>a. Enter or join the virtual exam room, and test the connection \/ device used
    \nb. Students prepare \/ open presentation files and manuscript files on the devices used, as well as prepare paper and writing tools as needed<\/p>\n

    Step 3<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    The Test Begins:
    \n<\/strong>a. The Chair of the Board of Examiners opens and guides the exam process
    \nb. Student presentations for 10-15 minutes
    \nc. Question and answer session by each board of examiners in turn<\/p>\n

    Step 4<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Chairman of the Board of Examiners:
    \n<\/strong>Ask students to wait for the decision on the exam results, and temporarily remove students from the virtual exam room.<\/p>\n

    Testers:
    \n<\/strong>a. Closed discussion to provide an assessment and determine the outcome of graduation
    \nb. Send the completed and digital signature of the Exam Assessment Sheet file to the Chair of the Board of Examiners for recapitulation, via the application WA<\/strong> <\/span>or E-mail<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Step 5<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Exams completed
    \n<\/strong>a. The Chairman of the Board of Examiners re-enters students into the virtual exam room, then announces the passing exam results
    \nb. Examiners send back the Final Project \/ Thesis Manuscript file to students for revision, through the application WA<\/strong> <\/span>or E-mail<\/span><\/strong>
    \nc. The Chair of the Examiners closed the virtual exam room<\/p>\n

    Step 6<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Chairman of the Board of Examiners:
    \n<\/strong>Submitting the Minutes and Examination Assessment Sheets to the Department, via the following form.<\/p>\n
