Sandra Schön is an expert in innovation in technology-enhanced learning, since March 2020 she is Adjunct Professor of Innovations in Learning at the Universitas Negeri Malang. She is Senior Researcher in the “Educational Technologies” team at the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) and as Project Manager at the “Forum New Media in Teaching Austria” (Graz) within the project “Open Education Austria Advanced” (both Austria).

Born 1976,  Sandra Schön studied educational science, psychology and computer science at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Germany). For her master degree (M.A., Magister Artium), she made a Delphi study about online assessment in vocational further education (2000). During and after her studies Sandra worked at the German Youth Institute in Munich (Germany) about Children and the Internet. In 2007 Sandra was awarded her doctorate (Dr. phil., magna cum laude) with an empirical analysis of learning activities with vocational relevance at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Germany. From 2006 to 2020, Sandra worked as senior researcher at Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft (Austria), lastly as a coordinator of a Horizon 2020 project called DOIT.
