Wednesday, September 5 2018 the Department of Art and Design held an event called One Day with the theme "Kondangan, Lur". This year, the One Day event has been held for the sixth time. Involving the participation of students of the 2017 Art and Design Department as performers and committee members. The participants of the One Day event are not only filled by the 2017 class, but also the 2018 and upper generations.

This "invitation" begins with a parade to enter the D7 and D8 park areas, which consist of officials from the Department of Art and Design along with their friends and new students. Then the event was opened with a speech from Dr. Hariyanto, M.Hum as the Head of the Art and Design Department, Abdul Rahman Prasetyo, S.Pd., M.Pd as the supervisor of HMJ Art and Design, Askha Bulkafi as the head of HMJ Art and Design and Nisrina Aulia H as the Chief Executive of One Day vol. 6.

One Day vol.6 this time entitled "Kondangan, Lur!" which has the meaning of tying intimately between new students 2018 and art. In addition, we also want to welcome the 2018 new students with happy euphoria, such as euphoria in marriage. Meanwhile, the brotherhood that is meant in this event is not brotherhood established by blood ties, but a very strong inner relationship like brothers by blood relations. This strong inner knot is the basis for the enthusiasm of all Art and Design students to continue making works and making art activities inside and outside the State University of Malang.

One Day vol.6 does not only hold exhibitions but also displays various types of performing arts, both music and dance, created by Art and Design students. Overall, the works displayed reflect the diversity of cultures in Indonesia which are packaged and adapted to today's culture.

Overall the One Day vol.6 event went well and was a success. There were no significant obstacles during the event. The enthusiasm of new students at the One Day vol.6 event was very good. This is evidenced by the large number of new students seeing the exhibition and seeing the performances presented. The event was closed with a final musical performance.
