For approximately 1 month, as many as 26 students from the country of Uncle Sam studied Indonesian Language and Culture at the Faculty of Letters, which is based in D8 Building. They seemed so excited about what they were learning and found new experiences while studying at the Faculty of Letters. It cannot be separated from the role of the tutors and mentors who patiently and diligently accompany them in learning. And of course with the full support of the Dean of the Faculty of Letters Prof. Utami Widiati, MA, Ph.D and the staff. This activity, coordinated by Mr. Gatut Susanto as Director of BIPA, invited these foreign students to study on and off campus, to introduce these American students to various kinds of Indonesian cultures and cultures.
