Alhamdulillah, on Thursday, July 21 2016, a new building was inaugurated at the Faculty of Letters, namely the connecting hallway between the E7 and E8 buildings. The building itself also functions as a gallery or showroom which will later accommodate lecturers and students who will carry out activities in the form of art exhibitions or calligraphy exhibitions. The Faculty of Letters which incidentally has a major in Art and Design, of course, has a lot of works by students and lecturers that can be exhibited in this new gallery. Prof. Utami Widiati, MA, Ph.D as the Dean of the Faculty of Letters is very supportive and also facilitates the students' works to be exhibited in their own "home". In addition to providing space for students and lecturers, this new facility also beautifies the building and environment around the Faculty of Letters area. Hopefully in the future the Faculty of Letters will be more advanced and can provide the best for students and provide more graduates who can compete in this increasingly advanced era. Keep moving forward the Faculty of Letters.

For approximately 1 month, as many as 26 students from the country of Uncle Sam studied Indonesian Language and Culture at the Faculty of Letters, which is based in D8 Building. They seemed so excited about what they were learning and found new experiences while studying at the Faculty of Letters. It cannot be separated from the role of the tutors and mentors who patiently and diligently accompany them in learning. And of course with the full support of the Dean of the Faculty of Letters Prof. Utami Widiati, MA, Ph.D and the staff. This activity, coordinated by Mr. Gatut Susanto as Director of BIPA, invited these foreign students to study on and off campus, to introduce these American students to various kinds of Indonesian cultures and cultures.

[fusion_text] Schedule of the Self-Selecting Skills Test for the Computer Based Test Path (TBK) State University of Malang in 2016, for the choice of study programs Fine Arts Education, Visual Communication Design and Dance and Music Education which will be held in the Department of Design Arts, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang.
This skills test will be followed by 518 participants, and implement it in building D7, E6, E8 and Q3.
