Kegiatan ini sekaligus sebagai promosi program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan HMJ Seni dan Desain.
Dhika Kusumaranti, a student of English Literature Department, FS UM, was chosen to be the representative of the State University of Malang as the Indonesian delegation the Encompass Journey of Understanding program in Wales United Kingdom, through The Daniel Braden Reconciliation Trust foundation on February 21 to March 1 2016
This program provides media that can be a means of cultural promotion and a place to build a community with high tolerance and understanding between various parties with different cultural backgrounds.

One of the places for students of the Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang, "RAINBOW THEATER" presents a very interesting event. Titled PERMADANI PELANGI in order to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the Pelangi Theater, with 2 main agendas, namely Talkshows with Ratna Riantiarno (Founder of Teater Koma) and The Pelangi Theater's 22nd Production Performance featured a performance of Matahari di A Kecil Street by Arifin C. Noer. This event was held successfully and is expected to increase students' knowledge in creating.
Siska Jauharoh Fajriyah, a student of the Indonesian Literature Department, FS UM, was elected Finalists for the National Level Scientific Writing and Essay Contest on February 19-21, 2016 at the Indonesian Education University, Bandung
On February 15, 2016, a lecturer from the Indonesian Literature Department Prof. Dr. Suyono, M.Pd was invited as a resource person in the socialization of the Rhetoric Construction Model of Text Articles of Indonesian Research Journal Articles Introduction and Discussion of Accredited Journals. This activity was carried out at the Graduate School of Indonesian Language Education, FKIP, Bengkulu University.
In order to complete the course on Evaluation of Learning Arts in the even semester 2015/2016 with the title
"Observation of the Cultural Arts Learning Evaluation System"
, students Alfian Susetyo Emas Saputro and Defvian Aries F from the Dance and Music Education Study Program will conduct an observation at SMPN 01 Batu in February-April 2016.
