2018 Overseas PPL Program Faculty of Letters
In 2018, the Faculty of Letters held an Overseas PPL Program for students. This program can not only be followed by students of the Faculty of Letters, but students from the Mathematics Education Program can also participate. OVERSEAS PPL PROGRAM IN 2018
- COUNTRY OF DESTINATION: SOUTH THAILAND (SONGKHLA, KRABI, NAKHORSI THAMARAT)
- VISION AND MISSION: SUPPLY STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF LITERATURE EXPERIENCE
TEACHING AND WORKING ABROAD
- ACTIVITIES:
- TEACHING ENGLISH, INDONESIAN AND MATHEMATICS WITH INTRODUCTION TO ENGLISH.
- TEACHING ISLAM WITH INTRODUCTION TO ENGLISH.
- LEARNING THE CULTURE OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES
- LONG OF ACTIVITY: 5 MONTHS (10 MAY - 10 OCTOBER 2018)
TERMS TO FOLLOW THE PROGRAM:
- ACTIVE STUDENTS OF EDUCATION OF ENGLISH, ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE, INDONESIAN AND REGIONAL LANGUAGE EDUCATION, INDONESIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE, ARABIC EDUCATION, MATH EDUCATION
- SEMESTER 6 AND UP
- GPA MINIMAL 3.3
- Able to speak English, Arabic
- UNDERSTANDING PBM AND EVALUATION
- INDEPENDENT
- UNDERSTANDING INDONESIA / NUSANTARA INSIGHTS
- GET THE PERMIT FROM PARENTS / KAJUR / DEKAN
- A HEALTH CERTIFICATE FROM A DOCTOR
- ALREADY REGISTERING PPL
FACILITIES PROVIDED BY THAILAND PROGRAM PROVIDERS:
- PLACE TO STAY / SCHOOL CHILDREN
- PACKAGE 4000 BATH PER MONTH OR EQUIVALENTS ± IDR 1,500,000 (enough for a month's living expenses)
- COST AND MANAGEMENT OF CURRENT VISA EXTENSION IN THAILAND
- AIRPORT SHIP TO / FROM PPL LOCATIONS
STUDENT AWARD BY UM:
- CREDIT TRANSFER (EQUIVALENT) MAXIMUM 15 CREDITS
- DO NOT LEAVE
- PP TICKET ASSISTANCE OF IDR 2,000,000, - SPECIALLY FOR LITERATURE FACULTY STUDENTS
- SELECTION: INTERVIEW; ENGLISH, ARABIC, TEACHING
COSTS SHARED BY STUDENTS:
- MAKING PASSPORT AND VISA APPLICATION ± IDR 2,000,000 (Two Million Rupiah)
- POCKET / PERSONAL EXPENDITURE
- PREPARING POCKET MONEY FOR THE FIRST ONE MONTH OF LIVING COSTS ± IDR 2,000,000
- TRAVEL INSURANCE OVERSEAS AND WHILE ABROAD UNTIL RETURN TO INDONESIA ATTACH PROOF OF INSURANCE PAYMENT OR COORDINATED WITH THE FACULTY
