Kota Malang – Departemen Sastra Jerman Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang menerima kunjungan dari Program Studi Sastra Jerman Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) pada Jumat, 25 Agustus 2023.
Bertempat di Aula AVA Gedung D14 Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang, pertemuan yang berjudul Benchmarking ini dihadiri oleh Kepala Departemen Sastra Jerman, Dr. Dewi Kartika Ardiyani , S.Pd, M.Pd yang didampingi oleh beberapa Bapak/Ibu dosen. Sementara itu, dari pihak UNESA mengutus tiga orang dosen, antara lain Lutfi Saksono, S.Pd., M.Pd; Raden Roro Dyah Woroharsi Parnaningroem, M.Pd; serta Dr. Wisma Kurniawati, M.Pd.
Kunjungan yang berlangsung pada pagi hingga siang hari ini diadakan atas permintaan Prodi Sastra Jerman FBS UNESA yang terkesan dengan Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman UM yang telah terakreditasi internasional (AQAS) dan akreditasi nasional “Unggul”. Diskusi antar kedua progam studi ini pun banyak membahas mengenai kegiatan-kegiatan kemasiswaan yang ada, utamanya yang telah berjalan di Universitas Negeri Malang.
“Pokok pembicaraan benchmarking ini adalah pada pengelolaan kerja sama internasional, di mana kita sharing mengenai proses berjalannya kegiatan di luar negeri termasuk MBKM, seperti asistensi mengajar, magang, dan sebagainya. Prodi kita sudah mengelola itu, jadi dari UNESA masih merintis sehingga kita saling belajar dan mengambil informasi begitu”,
tutur Dr. Dewi Kartika Ardiyani , S.Pd, M.Pd, Kepala Departemen Sastra Jerman UM.
Tak hanya diskusi interaktif, kegiatan ini juga dilanjutkan dengan kunjungan di Self Access Center (SAC) German Corner yang berada di lantai 8 GKB A20 Universitas Negeri Malang. Kebetulan, kunjungan ini juga berbarengan dengan ujian internasional untuk seleksi beasiswa DAAD antara mahasiswa kedua universitas yang juga diadakan di sana.
Kota Malang – Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang kembali mengirimkan mahasiswanya untuk mengikuti kegiatan internasional. Kali ini, giliran progam studi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin yang mengirimkan delegasinya ke negeri tirai bambu, Tiongkok.
Tak tanggung-tanggung, sebanyak 26 mahasiswa secara serentak diberangkatkan pada program yang bernama 3+1 ini. Mereka diantaranya adalah Achmad Marzuqi, Agustin Maria, Akilah Syahadati Diri, Albert Jefferson Halim, Angelina Belqhizza, Chasera Gladyssha, Dea Rachmawati, Diah Novita, Fina Fahria Anjani, Geizka Ferara Giannicheda, Hafshah Nur Damasari, Hana Khaliza, Hesi Rahma Novita, Jessica Novianti, Malaul Marwah, Nadine Aliyya, Nandina Salsabila, Puncho Prayugo, Rafi’i Nafis Sabila, Restiana Putri Wulandari, Retno Wulan Anggraini, Trikora Mahardika, Ucca Anggana, Viola Ermawati, Wahyu Wulan Fitriana, dan Zamrotus Umu Firdausi.
Seluruh mahasiswa tersebut telah dilepas secara resmi oleh Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Sastra, Evynurul Laily Zen , S.S., M.A., Ph.D pada acara pelepasan yang digelar pada hari Jumat, 25 Agustus 2023. Bertempat di Aula AVA Gedung D14 Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang, kegiatan diawali oleh pengantar yang disampaikan oleh Kepala Departemen Sastra Jerman yang menaungi Prodi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin, yakni Dr. Dewi Kartika Ardiyani , S.Pd, M.Pd. Beliau menuturkan bahwa sejumlah mahasiswa tersebut akan berada di Guangxi Normal University selama satu tahun penuh dan akan masuk di Faculty of Letters.
Usai melakukan pelepasan secara simbolis, Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Sastra, Evynurul Laily Zen , S.S., M.A., Ph.D juga memberikan beberapa pesan, utamanya untuk memaksimalkan kesempatan langka ini. “Mengikuti kegiatan ini adalah privilege besar yang mulia, maka jangan disia-siakan dengan belajar, aktif organisasi maupun kegiatan, tingkatkan kemampuan bahasa Mandarin, dan jangan lupa sumbangkan prestasi untuk kampus kita”, jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut, ke-26 mahasiswa terpilih tersebut juga mendapatkan briefing teknis oleh beberapa dosen yang kelak akan mendampingi keberangkatan mereka, utamanya Dr. Dudy Syafruddin, S.S., M.A yang merupakan koordinator pada progam studi dan kegiatan ini. Adapun arahan teknis ini meliputi persiapan keberangkatan hingga pelaksanaan kegiatan ketika sudah mendarat di Guilin, Tiongkok, seperti paspor dan visa, dokumen keberangkatan, adaptasi budaya, dan lain sebagainya.
Diketahui, para delegasi S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin ini akan bertolak ke Tiongkok pada hari Senin, 28 Agustus mendatang. Di sana, mereka yang akan membawa nama negara ini akan melakukan studi terkait banyak hal, utamanya Bahasa Mandarin dan budaya Tiongkok. Nantinya, mereka akan mendapatkan keuntungan berupa partial founded dan rekognisi SKS beberapa mata kuliah sebagai bagian dari progam Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang digencarkan oleh Universitas Negeri Malang.
Progam 3+1 ini sendiri merupakan salah satu international outbond mobility yang dimiliki oleh Fakultas Sastra, dimana mahasiswa diberi kesempatan untuk melakukan perkuliahan selama satu tahun di luar negeri pada kampus-kampus mitra. Tak hanya di Tiongkok, program tahunan ini di progam studi lain juga memberikan opsi pada beberapa negara ASEAN, seperti Malaysia, Thailand, dan Filipina.

Kota Malang – Masih dalam rangka penyambutan mahasiswa baru, Departemen Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang melaksanakan pertemuan antara dosen dan mahasiswa dengan tajuk Srawung Akademik. Kegiatan ini digelar pada hari Jumat, 25 Agustus 2023 bertempat di Lecturer Hall Lantai 9 GKB A19.
Diawali dengan menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya, kegiatan yang dimulai pada pukul 9 pagi ini turut dihadiri oleh pimpinan Fakultas Sastra, yakni Evynurul Laily Zen , S.S., M.A., Ph.D sebagai wakil dekan I. Selain itu, hadir pula Kepala Departemen Sastra Indonesia, para koordinator progam studi, para dosen, serta pastinya mahasiswa baru Departemen Sastra Indonesia yang berjumlah 322 orang. Mereka terdiri dari prodi S1 Ilmu Perpustakaan sebanyak 101 orang, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia sebanyak 98 orang, S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah sebanyak 77 orang, serta 46 orang mahasiswa pascasarjana.
Wakil Dekan I Fakultas Sastra, Evynurul Laily Zen , S.S., M.A., Ph.D melanjutkan kegiatan dengan memberikan sambutan berupa apresiasi dan pesan kepada para mahasiswa baru. Beliau juga menyampaikan bahwa “Lulus Bermutu dan Tepat Waktu” merupakan target dan pedoman, dimana disampaikan juga riwayat kelulusan alumni pada empat progam studi tersebut berkisar 35 hingga 98 persen yang tepat waktu, sedangkan untuk yang tuntas berkisar 85 hingga 100 persen. Beliau menutup sambutan dengan pesan untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas yang ada di Fakultas Sastra, seperti laboratorium, Self Acces Center (SAC), perpustakaan, dan lain-lain. “Manfaatkan waktu untuk belajar secara otodidak, tidak hanya di dalam kelas. Optimalkan seluruh sarana prasarana sebagai sumber belajar, tujuannya memang untuk dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya”, tuturnya.
Selanjutnya, Sekretaris Departemen Sastra Indonesia, Moh. Safii, S.Kom., M.Hum juga turut memberikan sambutan yang dilanjutkan dengan acara inti, yakni perkenalan dosen-dosen yang ada di Departemen Sastra Indonesia. Sesi ini disampaikan langsung oleh Kepala Departemen Sastra Indonesia, Azizatuz Zahro’, S.Pd., M.Pd yang satu per satu menyampaikan profil dari dosen di masing-masing progam studi, khususnya latar belakang pendidikan serta bidang keahliannya.
Kegiatan yang turut dihadiri oleh beberapa mahasiswa Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (PMM) dari berbagai perguruan tinggi nasional ini kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian kuliah singkat oleh salah satu dosen senior Fakultas Sastra, yakni Prof. Dr. Djoko Saryono, M.Pd. Beliau yang ahli dalam bidang kesenian tradisional ini menyampaikan materi berjudul “Manajemen Energi Mahasiswa Kunci Utama Menjalani Studi” yang memotivasi para mahasiswa baru untuk giat belajar.
Tak hanya perkenalan dan materi, acara yang awalnya serius ini berubah menjadi cair dengan banyaknya penampilan yang ditampilkan. Dari mahasiswa, ada penampilan nyanyian dari Alma, mahasiswa S1 Ilmu Perpustakaan yang membawakan lagu berjudul “Mimpi” karya Anggun C Sasmi, Alberta dari S1 Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia yang melantukan “Hampa” milik Ari Lasso, serta Ali dari S1 Pendidikan Bahasa Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah yang menyanyikan lagu dangdut populer yakni “Ikan dalam Kolam”. Selain itu, ada juga pembacaan puisi berjudul “Madura Akulah Darahmu” yang disyairkan oleh Purwatiningsih, mahasiswa S1 PBSID.
Tak hanya mahasiswa, para dosen juga tak mau ketinggalan. Mulai dari puisi “Untukku Anakku Maba” yang dibawakan oleh Dr. Hj. Titik Harsiati, M.Pd, para dosen-dosen lainnya juga turut menyumbangkan penampilan berupa menyanyi lagu secara bersama-sama, seperti “Rungkad” dan juga “Nemen” yang disambung dengan pembacaan karya-karya sastra. Acara yang berakhir dengan meriah ini pun ditutup dengan foto bersama dengan nuansa gembira yang nampak pada raut wajah para sivitas akamemika.
