As Muslims worldwide come together to celebrate this joyous festival, the Faculty of Languages at UM joins in the festivities, offering heartfelt prayers and wishes for a blessed and prosperous Eid.

A Celebration of Renewal

Eid al-Fitr is a celebration of renewal, both spiritually and socially. It is a time for Muslims to come together with family and friends, express gratitude to Allah (SWT) for the strength to complete the fast, and seek forgiveness for past sins. A Return to Fitrah

Eid al-Fitr is a time when Muslims return to their fitrah, their natural state of purity and goodness. It is a reminder of the innate human potential for goodness and righteousness. As Muslims celebrate this occasion, they seek to embody the qualities of kindness, generosity, and empathy that define their faith.

The Faculty of Languages encourages all members of the academic community to embrace these values not only during Eid but throughout the year, striving to be individuals who contribute positively to society.

A Feast of Sweets and Delights

Eid al-Fitr is also a culinary celebration, marked by a delectable array of traditional dishes and sweets. Families come together to enjoy special meals, exchange gifts, and share joyous moments. It is a time when the aroma of home-cooked delicacies fills the air, and the sound of laughter and celebration echoes through households.

In the spirit of this culinary tradition, the Faculty of Languages wishes everyone a delightful and scrumptious Eid al-Fitr. May the feasts be filled with not just delicious food but also the warmth of love and togetherness.

Prayers for Acceptance and Success

On this blessed occasion, the Faculty of Languages at UM extends heartfelt prayers that Allah (SWT) accepts the fasting and prayers of all Muslims during Ramadan. May this acceptance bring peace, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment to the hearts of believers.

Eid al-Fitr also symbolizes a victory over the challenges of self-discipline and self-restraint faced during the fasting month. It is a triumph of the spirit and a reminder of the strength and resilience that reside within each individual.

A Message of Unity and Inclusivity

The Faculty of Languages embraces the principles of unity and inclusivity, recognizing that Eid al-Fitr is a celebration that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. It is an occasion that unites Muslims from diverse backgrounds in the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.
