Dalam rangka Peningkatan Informasi Positif, Fakultas Sastra UM bekerjasama dengan TIMES Indonesia dalam acara Workshop d Ruang Sidang Fakultas Sastra, Kamis, 14/12/17.
Pada acara tersebut, dijelaskan banyak sekali materi terkait jurnalistik, salah satunya adalah Menulis berita dengan asyik dan Positif.
Menurut Yatimul Ainun(Narasumber TIMES Indonesia)”Tulislah sebanyak-banyaknya dan buanglah sebanyak-banyaknya”.

In his statement, Sri Widji Wahyuning Utami, Director of Development of TIMES Indonesia, or more familiarly called Bu Naning, explained that the development of increasingly advanced technology made people more quickly receive and send information, especially through social media. And according to the changing times, people are becoming faster at capturing existing information without any filters in the information they get. As a result, there is a lot of information and hoax news that we get. Aware of this, the Faculty of Letters of UM in collaboration with TIMES Indonesia tries to intensify how to change the pattern of information which has tended to be more negative than positive. In his remarks at the training event to improve web management of the Faculty of Letters, Dr. Roekhan, M.Pd, as Deputy Dean 2 of the Faculty of Letters, UM said that it is important to build a good and positive communication pattern among the community. In this case, the Faculty of Letters UM, which has built information data on the website through its managers, is expected to be a pioneer of FACULTY NOW and of course by providing a variety of positive and useful information for the wider community 'We are trying to innovate to become a superior faculty through the website,' he said
Faculty of Letters Builds Information Resilience in Education
Sebagai upaya membangun ketahanan Informasi dalam bidang Pendidikan, Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang (FS-UM) bekerjasama dengan TIMES Indonesia (timesindonesia.co.id) menggelar pelatihan dan pembekalan untuk pengelola web yang berasal dari 5 jurusan di Fakultas Sastra. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di ruang Sidang Fakultas Sastra UM pada hari Rabu sore (13/12/2017). Pembicara dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah ibu Sri Widji Wahyuning Utami, Direktur Pengembangan TIMES Indonesia (timesindonesia.co.id).
Dalam sambutannya, Dr Roekhan selaku Wakil Dekan II menyambut baik kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan web di dunia digital. Melalui kegiatan ini, beliau berharap agar pengelolaan informasi dan web FS menjadi lebih baik.
Together with TIMES Indonesia, the Faculty of Letters jointly builds Positive Information
Penyebaran informasi positif dan inspiratif penting untuk menguatkan dan mempertajam Informasi . Maka dari itu faculty of Literature bersama TIMES Indonesia (Timesindonesia.co.id) menjalin kerjasama untuk mewujudkan informasi Positif tersebut. Bertempat di Ruang Sidang Fakultas Sastra, bersama dengan mentor atraktif dari TIMES Indonesia, Pejabat Fakultas Sastra komunikasi antara para pengelola Website Fakultas Sastra dan jurusan berjalan dengan penuh semangat dan interaktif.
Kerjasama ini terjalin mengingat pentingnya Rangking Webomatrix untuk kepentingan lembaga Universitas Negeri Malang. Demi Universitas Negeri Malang, Fakultas Sastra berharap acara ini membawa dampak positif.
