Salah satu organisasi di BRIN tepatnya Organisasi Riset Arekologi Bahasa dan Sastra berkunjung ke Universitas Negeri Malang pada 9/3/23 untuk menyosialisasikan kerja sama yang dapat dilakukan pihak universitas dengan BRIN.
Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional atau sering disebut BRIN merupakan lembaga pemerintah non-kementerian yang bertanggung jawab kepada presiden. Pada 9 Maret 2023 ketua salah satu organisasi di BRIN, yaitu ketua organisasi riset arkeologi bahasa dan sastra, Herry Jogswara mengunjungi Universitas Negeri Malang. Disambut oleh beberapa dosen dari fakultas sastra, Pak Herry menyampaikan tentang beragam kerja sama yang bisa dilakukan dengan BRIN. Baik mahasiswa maupun dosen dapat melakukan kerja sama dengan BRIN.
Mahasiswa yang bisa melakukan kerja sama dengan BRIN adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir dengan benefit bantuan dana riset tahun akhir (didanai UKT untuk dua semester). Kategori mahasiswa yang bekerja sama dengan BRIN dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu riset asisten atau barista. Begitu juga dengan dosen, kategori kerja sama dengan BRIN juga dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu visiting researcher and post doctoral. Untuk mengikuti visiting researcher, syarat minimalnya adalah telah menempuh pendidikan S3. Sedangkan untuk mengikuti post doctoral, syarat minimalnya adalah tekah lulus S3 dan tidak lebih dari 3 tahun, menerbitkan 2 jurnal ilmiah bersertifikasi tingi, dan 1 artikel ilmiah bersertifikasi tinggi tingkat global.
Bekerja sama dengan BRIN dapat dilakukan dari mana saja (Work Form Anywhere) dengan ditentukan CO Working Space (CWS) dengan minimal bekerja dua kali seminggu. Antusiasme dari dosen Universitas Negeri Malang menjadikan suasana di ruang senat gedung B3 tampak hidup. Ditutup dengan penyerahan vandel dari pihak BRIN dan penyerahan kenang-kenangan dari pihak Universitas Negeri Malang, perjamuan diakhiri dengan hangat.
